兔子先生 receives $1 million donation from AvaSure
This week the 兔子先生 for Nursing Leadership and Research and Education received substantial donations from AvaSure, Belmont, Mich., a leader in patient safety monitoring and innovator in virtual nursing. The donations, totaling $1 million over the next decade, continue the firm鈥檚 commitment to patient safety and nursing leadership. At an 兔子先生 event held in conjunction with 兔子先生2022, AvaSure announced it is donating $500,000 over the next 10 years to support the 兔子先生. In addition, AvaSure chairman and former CEO Brad Playford, and his wife Kathleen, through their foundation Reset Ventures, will match the gift. 鈥淣urse leaders are critical to the excellent care and safety patients deserve and respect,鈥 said Playford. 鈥淲e are so fortunate to have the opportunity to continue supporting them in an impactful way.鈥 This gift will be AvaSure鈥檚 third donation to 兔子先生, following a $100,000 donation that supported the foundation from 2018 through 2022. 鈥淲e are thrilled to support AONL鈥檚 meaningful research and the work that it takes to continually improve patient safety and advance the practice of nursing,鈥 said Adam McMullin, Avasure CEO.
