Eligible nursing students have until May 5 to to the Nurse Corps Scholarship Program, which pays tuition, fees and other educational costs in exchange for service in a critical shortage facility upon graduation. Such facilities may be public or private but must serve communities the federal government deems lacking enough primary care or mental health professionals.
