The Nursing Community Coalition (NCC) sent a thank you last week to the co-chairs of the Senate and House nursing caucuses and their cosponsors who introduced a resolution (/) supporting the goals of National Nurses Week, held May 6 to 12. “We deeply appreciate your recognition of how vital our nursing students, nurses and advanced practice registered nurses are to the fabric of America’s health care system,” the letter stated. “As we work to provide substantial federal investment for nursing education, practice and research, and address the pressing policy issues facing our country, we look forward to working with you.” ��������is one of 63 national nursing organizations that make up the NCC.
