��������member Kathy Driscoll, MSN, RN, chief nursing officer (CNO) of Louisville, Ky.-based Humana, shared her on the benefits of home care nursing this month in HealthLeaders Media. Home care nursing has more than doubled in popularity during the COVID-19 pandemic. Not only is it linked to higher quality of health care for patients, Driscoll points out, but it can provide a better experience for nurses as well. Home care nurses “reported feeling that their work had more meaning,” she said, noting home care can offer flexibility and autonomy, while giving nurses opportunities to “develop trusting relationships with their patients.” (HealthLeaders Media , 5/13/22)
