The DAISY Foundation opened last week for several grant opportunities. It will award to nurses: one to improve the care of disadvantaged populations and mitigate social determinants of health, and another to improve care and promote healthy aging of older adults. The foundation also offers , which provide nurses with funding for projects to evaluate changes in nursing practice in treating patients with cancer and autoimmune diseases, as well as studies benefitting patients and/or families who receive cancer and autoimmune disease treatment.
