The �������� for Nursing Leadership Research and Education selected Tiffany Mitchell, MSN, RN, as a financial aid recipient. Mitchell, who works at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford in Bedford, will receive $15,000 to participate in the 2023 ��������Nurse Manager Fellowship Program. Mitchell is “always looking at ways to improve our health care environments,” said Amy McCarthy, DNP, RN, director of nursing, women, infants and oncology, at Texas Health HEB. “She is a natural leader and is respected throughout the organization for her dedication to her staff and patients alike.” McCarthy added fellowship program will aid Mitchell “in continuing to develop her leadership skills, as well as introduce her to viewpoints of nurse leaders across the nation.” AMN Healthcare sponsored the award; the funds include program tuition and travel.
