AHA podcast features collaboration to reduce Type 2 diabetes
An American Hospital Association featured California鈥檚 Monterey County Diabetes Collaborative, which received a 2022 AHA Dick Davidson NOVA Award for reducing Type 2 diabetes. Steven Packer, MD, president and CEO of Montage Health in Monterey, Calif., and Pete Delgado, president and CEO of Salinas (Calif.) Valley Memorial Health Care System discuss their collaboration. The recognizes programs that help to address the nation鈥檚 most pressing health challenges while creating healthier communities and increasing well-being for their neighbors.
