To mark this year’s , the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) and its partners are urging organizations to show their commitment to patient safety by encouraging patient engagement with its free  materials and recognizing patient safety champions on their teams. Organizations also may spread the word on social media by using the hashtag #PSAW20 and tagging . IHI and the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality will also host a on safe care transitions on March 12 at noon ET.
