Making sure the nursing workforce feels safe, engaged and valued should be a top priority for chief nursing officers (CNOs) in 2020. That’s the view of ��������member Shela Kaneshiro, MBA, RN, vice president, patient care services and CNO at MemorialCare Orange Coast Medical Center in Fountain Valley, Calif.
