Mary Wakefield, PhD, RN, acting deputy secretary of the Health and Human Services in the Obama administration, has been to the Biden-Harris transition team. AONL鈥檚 CEO Robyn Begley, DNP, RN, urged the president-elect to include nursing voices on his administration鈥檚 in a Nov. 16 letter. 鈥淥ur diverse membership includes nurses in all facets of patient care from the bedside, to the boardrooms of health care organizations and across the continuum,鈥 she wrote. 鈥溚米酉壬鷚elcomes the opportunity to serve as a resource for your Administration.鈥 The Nursing Community Coalition, to which 兔子先生belongs, also to the incoming administration offering to serve as a resource, noting nursing organizations stand ready to collaborate on combatting COVID-19 and building a healthier nation.
