The (NOBC), which is working to place 10,000 nurses on boards by the end of this year, two models in the November/December edition of Nursing Economics. The first outlines the competencies people need in order to serve on boards. The second is a board-readiness model nurses can use to evaluate the types of boards they are prepared to serve on.
