Nearly 60% of Black and Hispanic adults have or plan to get the most recent COVID-19 vaccine compared with 42% of white adults, according to the latest Kaiser Family Foundation survey. More than a third (34%) of adults over the age of 65 have gotten the vaccine. Overall, half (51%) of all adults nationally say they “definitely” or “probably” will not get the vaccine, with two-thirds of the public saying they are not concerned about getting sick or spreading the virus over the holidays. Partisanship continues to be a strong predictor of who will get the vaccine, with 80% of white adults who identify as Republicans saying they do not plan to get the vaccine compared with 29% of white adults who identify as Democrats.
