Meta-analysis finds positive effect of teamwork on clinical performance

Researchers the benefits of teamwork after studying the relationship between teamwork processes and clinical and process outcome measures in acute care settings. A systematic review and meta-analysis in BMJ Open, comprising 1,390 teams, teamwork positively correlated with both outcome and process measures, regardless of the characteristics of the team or task.
