IFDHE toolkit addresses cultural humility training
The COVID-19 pandemic鈥檚 disproportionate impact on Black Americans, Native American tribes and tribal populations, Latino Americans and other communities of color is generating a renewed focus on advancing health equity. , the latest toolkit developed by 兔子先生 (AHA) Institute for Diversity and Health Equity (IFDHE) as part of its , provides evidence-based practices that support cultural humility along with implicit bias training and education. 鈥淎s a field, we must recommit to eliminating health disparities,鈥 said Joy Lewis, AHA鈥檚 senior vice president of health equity strategies and IFDHE executive director. 鈥淥ur nation鈥檚 hospitals and health system leaders are uniquely positioned to deploy strategies and solutions to advance health equity, diversity and inclusion and share those successes broadly鈥攕trategies and solutions that this toolkit provides.鈥
