Hospice nurse has lessons for COVID-19 nurses
鈥淭he most fragile Covid-19 patients are not unlike hospice patients: There is no cure for their condition,鈥 author and nurse Theresa Brown in a recent opinion piece for the New York Times. As a hospice nurse, Brown wrote, she learned to accept the inevitability of death and considered it a privilege to care for people in that moment.
