Nov. 25 at 6:00 p.m. ET is the deadline for submitting on the list of under consideration for federal public reporting and payment programs. These include the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System, a Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ program legislated by the Medicare Access and the CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015. Each year since 2011, the National Quality Forum (NQF) has convened the to conduct a review of federal standardized performance measures. The MAP brings together health care leaders and experts from the private and public sectors and provides recommendations to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) on high-impact measures designed to improve health and health care. The MAP will deliver recommendations to HHS in January and publish its reports in February and March 2020. (NQF , 11/19/19)
