CDC updates coronavirus infection control recommendations

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) this week updated recommendations for health professionals on how the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) spreads and steps health care facilities can take to minimize exposure to the infection while delivering health services. The agency is the location of confirmed 2019-nCoV cases and working closely with state, local and tribal partners to combat the threat to public health. The CDC’s and contain detailed information on environmental infection control in health care settings.
