The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) this week updated recommendations for health professionals on how the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) spreads and steps health care facilities can take to minimize exposure to the infection while delivering health services. The agency is the location of confirmed 2019-nCoV cases and working closely with state, local and tribal partners to combat the threat to public health.
