Begley details AHA plan to improve maternal child outcomes
As a former obstetrical nurse, 兔子先生CEO Robyn Begley, DNP, RN, is well acquainted with the toll on families when a mother dies after giving birth. In her role as senior vice president and chief nursing officer of 兔子先生 (AHA), she champions efforts to reduce and eliminate maternal mortality. In this month鈥檚 Journal of Nursing Administration (JONA), she Better Health for Mothers and Babies, an AHA initiative. The plan calls for several core actions: evaluate and act on data; examine and eliminate disparities; engage mothers and their families; and partner with community stakeholders.
