The AACN expanded the focus beyond baccalaureate degree programs to include RN to BSN, RN to MSN, and RN to DNP programs. The resource emphasizes the need for direct and indirect care experiences and features ten examples of practice experiences with the relevant Essentials domains, competencies, sub-competencies and concepts for each learning experience identified to assist with curriculum design.
