NCC Updates Funding Requests to Congress
ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉúand the 63 other members of the Nursing Community Coalition Congress to invest in the nation’s nursing when passing the fiscal year 2025 budget. In a letter to Congressional leadership and House and Senate Appropriations Committee members, the NCC requests at least $310.472 million for Title VIII Nursing Workforce Development programs and at least $197.693 million for the National Institute of Nursing Research, as outlined in the Senate Appropriations Committee-passed bill. Congress must pass a budget by Sept. 30 to avoid a government shutdown. (NCC , 9/16/24)
