Leadership model outlines supports for pandemic well-being

The Model of Leadership Influence for Health Professional Well-being a framework for leaders to support staff by targeting four dimensions of whole person well-being: purpose and faith; connectedness; emotional well-being; and factors related to stress and work/life balance. 鈥淯sing this model, leaders can identify and evaluate the stressors that challenge their staff, individually and collectively,鈥 the framework鈥檚 authors wrote in Nursing Outlook. Although aimed at reducing nurse burnout at any time, the authors also discuss the model鈥檚 potential to help leaders address current challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
