Education grant launched to recognize nurse leader in technology

Software provider symplr, in partnership with ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉúand the DAISY Foundation, an education grant to recognize visionary nurse leaders for pioneering contributions advancing technology in nursing. Announced at ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú2025 in Boston, the Karlene Kerfoot Nursing Leadership in Technology Education Grant honors the late Karlene Kerfoot, PhD, RN, symplr’s former chief nursing officer, whose passion for nursing and technology continues to shape health care. Among her accomplishments, Kerfoot co-founded AONL’s Leadership Innovation and Technology Transformation initiative in 2022. Nominations for the award will be accepted from June 1 to Sept. 1.
