DAISY Foundation, NOBC seek award nominees
The Nurses on Boards Coalition and the DAISY Foundation seek for the inaugural DAISY Nurse Leader Award ─ NOBC. Nominations will be accepted from members of ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉúand other NOBC , an NOBC state organization or a coalition affiliated with the Future of Nursing: Campaign for Action. Three winners will be selected. The award honors nurses who serve as role models of nursing leadership excellence, advocate for improved community health, serve on a board or have a history of serving on a board, mentor and sponsor others for board service, create a positive work environment and demonstrate compassionate leadership. The NOBC and the DAISY Foundation will nominations through April 19, with winners announced June 13.
