AONL, Laudio Release Report on Nurse Manager Retention
ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉúand Laudio released their second report on nurse manager retention. Combining data spanning more than 200,000 front-line team members and AONL-led interviews with nurse managers, the report provides insights on drivers of manager turnover and offers strategies to promote leader satisfaction and team stability. The report found nurse manager turnover is highest during the first four years of leadership, revealing a critical window for leader support and investment. Interviewed nurse managers said health system executives should prioritize initiatives to ensure a healthy work environment, promote leadership development, identify and develop future leaders early and address nurse manager role complexity.
