ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉúAnnounces Award Honorees
ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉúthis week announced Children’s Health, Dallas, will receive the ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉúPrism Award for advancing diversity efforts. The hospital increased racial and ethnic diversity within its nursing workforce from 33% to 55% through an apprenticeship program assisting associate degree graduates to transition into their professional role while completing a baccalaureate bridge program and nurse residency. Lindsay Hong, MSN, RN, a nurse manager at the Brain Innovation Center at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in Chicago, will receive the Pamela Austin Thompson Emerging Leader Award. Linda Talley, MS, RN, a senior vice president and CNO at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C., will receive the ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉúExemplary Leadership Award. ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉúwill honor the recipients during its annual conference next week in New Orleans.
