AHA, Project Firstline release infection prevention training
The American Hospital Association (AHA) Team Training, in partnership with the Project Firstline collaborative, free on-demand to help hospitals and health systems integrate teamwork and communication principles into their normal workflows to better prevent and control infection. 鈥淐ontinual education on infection prevention must be part of a hospital鈥檚 or health system鈥檚 normal workflow and not compromised because of time pressures,鈥 said Marie Cleary-Fishman, AHA vice president, clinical quality. 鈥淭his new video toolkit makes communications training quick and easy.鈥 Last year, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention partnered with the AHA鈥檚 Center for Health Innovation and other national health care organizations to launch the national training collaborative.
