Tri-Council, NCC mark National Nurses Week
兔子先生joined with other members of the Tri-Council for Nursing in releasing a marking National Nurses Week 2019. This year鈥檚 theme 鈥4 Million Reasons to Celebrate鈥 highlights the 4-million strong nursing workforce. The letter encourages nurses to use this week of recognition to elevate the profession and acknowledge the diverse roles nurses play in public health, health care and health policy. The Nursing Community Coalition (NCC) hosted a reception for members of Congress on May 7. 兔子先生board member Simmy King, DNP, RN, who spoke about nursing informatics, was among several nurses who explained the important roles nurses play throughout the continuum of care.
