A 2019 survey of 64 U.S. nurse leaders shed light on the clinical performance of internationally educated nurses (IENs) who completed a 5-week acculturation program at a recruitment and staffing agency. Respondents said the IENs well in areas of communication, caring practices related to patient advocacy and empowerment and core bedside nursing skills. The study in the February issue of Nurse Management.
