Inova Health System a multidisciplinary team to reduce the severity and frequency of injuries in its emergency departments, behavioral health units and across the system, according to an American Hospital Association . The Safety Always for Everyone team ─ comprised of experts from nursing, medicine, behavioral health, security, chaplains, pharmacy and other essential departments ─ responds to and mitigates violent incidents, conducts comprehensive debriefs, develops and updates policies and procedures. The SAFE team advances the Falls Church, Va.-based health system’s efforts to address workplace violence. (AHA News article, 6/9/23)
