Health care organizations now have until Feb. 28 to register for phase 1 of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) . Phase 1 will recognize programs that effectively address equity in postpartum care for Black and Native women enrolled in Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program. Examples of interventions include those for postpartum care for diabetes, postpartum depression, anxiety, hypertension or substance use disorders. Awarded funds will total $1.8 million.
