Chamberlain applies social determinants to diversify nursing pipeline
To advance nationwide efforts to increase diversity among nursing students, Chamberlain University a framework connecting the social determinants of health to what the school calls the 鈥渟ocial determinants of learning.鈥 The research-based framework identifies six core factors schools should consider in building a more diverse pipeline: physical health, psychosocial health, economic stability, physical environment/community, social environment/community and self-motivation.
