Center supports health care worker well-being
To address , the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville started the Center for Healthy Minds and Practice. The Joint Commission Journal on Quality and Patient Safety published a in its April issue about the on-campus behavioral support center, which improves crisis response, creates peer support and removes barriers to accessing mental health care. Separately, ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú’s Trustee Services and Behavioral Health teams released a to help hospital boards understand and prevent suicides in the health care workforce.
