The Campaign for Action a video explaining its Equity-Minded Nurse initiative to advance health equity. “An equity-minded nurse is someone who has the knowledge, the skills, and the desire to make really significant change across health settings,” according to Piri Ackerman-Barger, PhD, RN, the Campaign’s senior health equity fellow and an associate dean and clinical professor at the University of California Davis Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing. Ackerman-Barger also explains in the video how a diverse nurse workforce will help to advance health equity.
