CDC ‘Hear Her’ campaign releases resources to support maternity patients
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) “Hear Her” campaign a webpage with clinical resources and media materials to help health professionals communicate with pregnant and postpartum patients about warning signs demanding immediate medical attention and other concerns. The also aim to help hospitals and health systems create environments where women are encouraged to speak up and become respected members of their care team. In a , Priya Bathija, vice president of strategic initiatives at , discussed how listening to pregnant and postpartum women and acting quickly can save lives.
