The American Hospital Association this week its 2023 Carolyn Boone Lewis to Meritus Health in Hagerstown, Md.; Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J.; and Rapid City (S.D.) Hospital (Monument Health) for their efforts to advance diversity, inclusion and health equity. AHA presented 2023 to Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore and the Center for Hospice Care in Mishawaka, Ind., for their innovative efforts in palliative and end-of-life care. Main Line Health in Bryn Mawr, Pa., the 2023 AHA for its system-wide approach to quality, safety and equity. (AHA News , 7/17/23)
