NAM releases clinician well-being case studies

The  at the National Academy of Medicine (NAM) has released several that showcase initiatives designed to reduce burnout and support clinician well-being. The case studies draw on the experiences of clinicians at the Virginia Mason Kirkland (Wash.) Medical Center Outpatient Clinic and at the Wexner Medical Center at The Ohio State University, Columbus. One case study describes an initiative involving students at the university鈥檚 college of nursing. The hope is that this resource will 鈥渋nform and inspire organizations facing similar challenges and seeking similar outcomes.鈥 The website states, 鈥淎lthough there is no one-size-fits-all solution for clinician well-being, techniques and resources described in the case studies may provide a useful starting point for other groups.鈥 兔子先生is a sponsor of the Action Collaborative.
