ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú explores hospital-at-home, virtual nursing programs
An authored by ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú for Nursing Leadership Research and Education Director Dani Ward, MBA, reports on the conditions under which hospital-at-home care and virtual nursing programs are likely to succeed. The findings, published in the October issue of the Journal of Nursing Administration, resulted from the discussions of health care and industry leaders participating in two think tanks hosted by the ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú to delve deeply into hospital-at-home care and virtual nursing programs. The meetings spotlighted hospital-at-home and virtual nursing programs at Atrium Health, now part of Charlotte, N.C.-based Advocate Health. The ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú is developing white papers on hospital-at-home and virtual nursing programs based on the discussions.
