/ en Fri, 04 Apr 2025 02:15:22 -0500 Thu, 09 May 19 09:00:48 -0500 /people-people-nurse-executive-delegation-india-2010 <p>On September 12, 2010 delegates from the American Organization for Nursing Leadership and their guests embarked on a trip halfway around the world to meet with nurse leaders in India through the People to People Citizen Ambassador Program. 兔子先生president, Pamela Rudisill, MSN, RN, MEd, NEABC, and 兔子先生chief executive officer (CEO), Pamela Thompson, MS, RN, CENP, FAAN, led the delegation's meetings with counterparts in Delhi, Jaipur and Agra. The trip was filled with dialogue about health care and nursing leadership in the United States (U.S.) and in India. The most intriguing aspects of our meetings were not the differences in our processes, but the similarities in our struggles, successes and views on the future role of the nurse leader in health care.</p> Thu, 09 May 2019 09:00:48 -0500 International Staff /insights-israel-observations-nurse-leader-delegation-journey <p>In 2017 a delegation of nurse leaders traveled abroad, to Israel with the 兔子先生board president an CEO.</p> <p>Among the areas they explored included, emergency preparedness, treating victims of violence in Israeli communities, and Israeli nurse leaders鈥� initiatives to keep themselves and their staff resilient. Additionally, they learned how nurse leaders in Israel partner with their academic colleagues in preparing the current and future generation of nurses for the growing demand of health care needs as their population ages.</p> Mon, 22 Apr 2019 15:30:54 -0500 International Staff /about/international-initiatives <p>兔子先生has a rich history of working internationally with a variety of groups to improve health care across the globe through information exchange, networking and education.</p> <h2>International Programs</h2> <p><strong><a href="http://www.aiha.com/" target="_blank">American International Health Alliance (AIHA)</a></strong><br /> 兔子先生partnered with AIHA and the Moravian College School of Nursing in Mozambique to present a three-part leadership development course to the Mozambican National Nurses Association (ANEMO) in 2010 and 2011.</p> <p><a href="http://www.enda-europe.com/en/" target="_blank"><strong>European Nurse Directors Association</strong></a><br /> The European Nurse Directors Association and 兔子先生hosted a joint congress in Opatija, Croatia, in 2017 to further development and synergy of nursing management and nursing science beyond European boundaries. Under the motto 鈥淣ursing: Building It 鈥� Living It 鈥� Sharing It,鈥� the 13th congress covered topics such as globalization, ethics and leadership.</p> <p><a href="http://www.icn.ch/" target="_blank"><strong>International Council of Nurses</strong></a><br /> In 1999, members of the 兔子先生executive committee presented a panel on nursing association advocacy at the ICN Centennial in London, England, marking the 兔子先生board鈥檚 first international activity. 兔子先生has since attended and had abstracts accepted for multiple ICN meetings.</p> <p><strong>Nurse Leader Professionals Abroad</strong><br /> 兔子先生leaders and members have traveled to Cambodia, China, Costa Rica, India, Israel, Peru, Russia, South Africa.
